InnerCityTimes Internship

The InnerCityTimes initiative strives to provide a creative platform to talented individuals in the Hispanic community of New York City. As part of this effort, we also collaborate with the community by pairing local talents with opportunities to expand their careers.

InnerCityTimes is currently looking for communications and/or public relations college student or graduate to assist the managing staff by creating content for the different sections of the website. The intern will be in charge of keeping certain sections of the website up-to-date. We need someone who is willing to dedicate a few hours per week to this initiative. The intern will work closely with the site editors and might be assigned to cover special events. Hours are extremely flexible and most of the work can be done from home.

Candidates must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (read, speak and write) and have an interest or background in the arts and the community.

Application Instructions:

If you’d like to be considered for this unpaid internship, please submit your resume, along with a brief bio and a short text describing why you are the perfect candidate for this opportunity. Send requested documents to alejandro@innercitytimes.org with the subject line: INNERCITYTIMES INTERN.

Deadline for submissions:  Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
