PRACTICE OF EVERYDAY LIFE

Cultural Workers is a platform for art, culture, and design, the project supports skilled creative workers and we investigate new uses for vacant properties across New York City and strengthen community revitalization driven by hospitality and coexistence. “This is my art and I believe that whether or not a piece meets the criteria to be an artwork depends on what function it plays in a particular context.” Gabino Castelan.

For nine days of educational and recreational initiatives will take place starting April 20th from 6 – 9 pm at Hunter College, this journey is part of Gabino thesis.

Art | Culture | Design come together to activate, Practice of Everyday Life. This project is a mural based architectural installation that hybridizes several social identities and simultaneously functions as a public artwork, restaurant, cultural center, classroom, theater, and a business venture.
